The challenge

Kontadores, San Sebastian’s municipal center for youth and culture, celebrates every June its last festivity before closing its doors for the summer break. This event, where collaborators, friends, artists, workshop participants and workers get together, has the objective to welcome summer, present the latest projects and officially bid farewell until next September. The party is all about concerts, artistic actions and theatre.

The idea

This year’s poster is a salute to summer with intense and vivid colours and a dynamic composition. The central element, the “burning” zebra-head, is inspired by an actual project of an artist collective working with Kontadores. It adds conceptual strangeness and artistic spirit to the poster and thereby represents some of Kontadores’ values. The colours as well as the composition with its typographical importance and vectorial presence put the festivity in a context of modernity, quality and young spirit.
